Lynne Peterson: The senior writer for Emerging-Trends, Lynne Peterson has more than 30 years experience as a journalist. She spent nearly 20 years as a network news writer, editor, and producer for, first CBS News, then NBC News in Washington, D.C. Following this, she was the editor and bureau chief for a regional business newspaper in Florida, and then the station manager of a public television station in Florida.

Lynne’s NBC News network documentaries on topics such as illiteracy, teenage suicide, housing discrimination, the prison parole system, and cocaine smuggling, earned numerous prestigious awards, including a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (1968, BA in political science), Lynne has had more than a thousand articles published in national and international magazines, newspapers and newsletters, including the Washington Post, Miami Herald, and Latin Finance. She currently is the senior writer for both Emerging-Trends and Trends-in-Medicine (www.trends-in-medicine.com), a newsletter that follows drugs and devices in development and trends in the healthcare field for a primarily physician audience.

Marta S.Weber, PhD: Dr. Weber is a psychologist whose distinguished 30-year career has spanned clinical, forensic and intelligence specialties. She is regularly consulted by local and federal law enforcement agencies to look into the mind of suspects, and has served hundreds of times as an expert witness in many high-profile cases.

Diana Quinn: A veteran reporter with 25 years experience in network TV, network radio, and print journalism, Diana has covered major stories including presidential elections, both Gulf wars, and 9/11.

Mike Woods: A software developer with many years experience working with a number of leading retailers and distributors, Mike also maintains our website.

Betty Teel: A 1969 graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in education, Betty lives with her husband in the Texas Hill Country. She came out of retirement to become an editor for Emerging-Trends.
